More About New Songs

One of the key resources, and perhaps what we are best known for, is searching out new worship songs and sharing them with the wider church. Over the years the Vineyard movement has introduced new songs and influenced modern worship through conferences and events, cassettes, CDs and, these days, through digital downloads.

Through relationship with Vineyard churches in the UK and Ireland, we continue to search out and make available those songs which we believe should be shared with the wider church. It is a privilege to be entrusted for such a task and we are ever grateful to writers and the churches for entrusting us with their songs.

...you can be a part of this without being a songwriter...

We want to share the very best with the wider church and similarly we want the songs we share to be at their very best. You can be a part of this without being a songwriter. One of the best ways to choose which songs we should put on an album is by having them road tested further, so New Songs allows us to give more songs the opportunity to take root and prove themselves. "How will this work?" Read on...

...giving away new songs for FREE throughout the year...

Starting in January 2008 in this New Songs section of the website we will be giving away a new songs every month for you to download and, we hope, use in worship.

...more than just an mp3...

Yes we will give you the mp3 but we won't stop there - we will also include chord & lyric sheets and a SongTeach video.

We hope that these songs are ones that will bless your worship times. Each download will be available for 6 weeks after which it will become available as a single on the iTunes store... so make sure you remember to come and check out the new one each month.

Feedback

And this is where we need you to tell us what you found were the strengths, what made it work and also the areas that could be improved (maybe a line is hard for a congregation to sing etc). With each song there will be a feedback for that will help us find the songs that are reallly working in churches in the UK and around the world.
