Why we created SongTeach.

As a worship ministry, at Vineyard Records UK we have the privilege of searching out new worship songs through relationship with both Vineyard songwriters and their pastors. These songs are what you hear on the albums that we release through Vineyard Records UK - our motto is 'from the church, for the church' and these albums are the best way to share these songs with the wider church.

However, we are very aware that most churches don't have quite as many musicians or musical gear as on some of our CDs, so we came up with the concept of SongTeach as a way of stripping these songs back to the simplicity of an acoustic guitar. Hopefully by demonstrating the two ends of the musical spectrum (being the full band on the CD and the acoustic versions on SongTeach) you will be able to translate these songs into the setting you are in.
