Heart & Skills at Taunton Vineyard 8th September

SW Regional Heart & Skills Training Day

8th September 2012

10.30 – 5pm

at Richard Huish College, Taunton.

Great worship is developed by those with the right combination of heart and skills and this day is an investment in both. The event is to help strengthen those involved in worship. We know that churches are in different stages and the aim is not to fit everyone into one style but to help each church develop the strength and quality of its worship life (both on Sundays and in small groups).

Who is this event for?

Worship team leaders, musicians and vocalists, small group worship leaders, PA and media team members, or anyone interested in worship.

What can I expect

There will be one main session and the rest of the day will have various seminars and workshops including:

- Getting the best from your PA what ever stage your church
- Band arrangements
- Vocal workshop
- Training worship leaders and how to keep learning as a leader
- Keyboard, Bass, Acoustic guitar, drums / percussion, and electric guitar / lead instrument workshops
- Building a Sunday team – PA, Media and Worship team

Who’s leading the day?

Marc James who was part of the Vineyard for many years and is a highly respected singer songwriter, with guests from Barcelona Vineyard and Vineyard churches from the Southwest Region. It will be interactive, inspiring, practical and fun! Bring your whole team to get the best from the day.

Cost and Registration

Admission for the event is £5.00 but concessionary rates are available on request.

Pre-registration is essential to plan for lunch. Please register on-line by Friday 31st August: www.tauntonvineyard.org

This Heart & Skill event will be followed by an open Celebration between 7-9pm

(There is no admission charge to the Celebration.)
