"Only You" is the latest release from Vineyard Music South Africa. It combines the musical styles of the diverse & rich cultures found in this country. Traditional Sotho & Zulu congregational songs fit seamlessly with the beautiful worship songs written by South African & Zimbabwean worship leaders. The percussive influences are balanced with powerful vocals to give the listener a glimpse into how Vineyard worship has crossed cultural & language barriers to form a unique but totally accessible cry from the hearts of South African worshippers.
From the Vineyard classic "We Welcome You" (given a totally new African feel) and the powerful accapella traditional "Bonga", to the simple yet profound "Only You", this album expresses a vision for worship that is culturally relevant to the church in South Africa. The church worldwide will find a vibrant explosion of praise often missing in 'westernised' worship.
