Spring Harvest 2010 Worship Leaders
Trent Live - Burn Bright celebrates Trent doing what they do best - leading worship in a live setting.
Following on from studio albums Hold On, Unfailing Love and Radio (EP), the time was right to capture and share Trent leading worship at their home church (Trent Vineyard, Nottingham). Filmed on a snowy evening during February 09, people gathered from far and wide for a powerful and special night of worship.
The main feature, at over 70 minutes, includes four brand new songs including the title track Burn Bright, alongside some of their most influential songs such as Perfect Sacrifice, I Will
Hold On, Unfailing Love and Love Divine. Bonus features include behind the scenes footage and band interviews, a look at the Arches - one of Trent Vineyards key ministries,
an interview with John and Debbie Wright (pastors) and Songteach videos (learn to play the songs).
As one of the principal worship bands at Trent Vineyard, Trent have been writing songs together for over eight years. You may have seen them on the road leading worship at New Wine (Shepton Mallet), Greenbelt or SoulFest (USA) as well as playing at Spring Harvest, Passion 07, Adoration 08, Awakenings and several Hope 08 events amongst others.
Trent are known for their collective approach to writing songs breathing fresh expression into Biblical themes, crafting songs born out of their walk with God as part of the Trent Vineyard.
Review from everythingchristian.co.uk
Their latest album, Burn Bright, was recorded live at the church in Nottingham, and offers excellent value with both an audio CD and a live video produced to a TV-quality. Additional bonus items on the DVD include a mini-documentary about Trent, interviews with the pastors of Trent Vineyard and some tuition videos to teach the songs. Some of the songs have already appeared on other Trent albums, but there are also new songs here. Standout tracks for me included the intense, sub-1980’s groove on Love Divine and the opening track Now and Ever, both well-suited to congregational worship.
Christian CDs can often be quite expensive, especially when compared to the mass-market mainstream chart equivalent, so value-adding as we see here can make a considerable difference when swallowing the cost. Inspiring content from a great ministry.
